Matthew chapter 26.....The prophecy being fulfilled .........
It took obedience even for our sins. Jesus obeyed God by allowing himself to be crucified for our sins and the disciples obeyed Jesus by not fighting against what Jesus had told them what had to happen. How hard it must have been for Jesus to resist and obey when he has all the power to destroy nations and generations. He laid his life down for the sake of humanity. How hard it must have been for the disciples to watch Jesus suffer so greatly and not be allowed to fight the soldiers and the priest who arrested him. Without obedience God's prophecy could not come to pass. As hard as it may seem to stay obedient it is the only way to activate the kingdom of God in your life. Remember that it may seem hard to be obedient at times when our own desires seem great. Our human minds cant comprehend what God has planned for our lives. Even though is may seem to be impossible remember Matthew 19: 26........Jesus said, " humanly speaking it is impossible but with God everything is possible".
